Monday Morning Man Post

Menswear on a wedding day is usually a simple choice, and since it is Monday, and no one wants to process anything overly complicated, I think today will be a posting for the dudes.  Or for the ladies to show to their dudes.

Many men can carry off just about anything, including flowers, with the right amount of confidence, but I cannot help but to think that roses or other singular flowers just aren't right for a man's lapel.  Something about it is reminiscent of high school prom, and just plain boring.  This morning is an homage to creative, personalized takes on the boutonniere.  Typically, the men walking down the aisle, have some flower that matches the table arrangements or the bride's bouquet.  The men below have something completely different.  Enjoy your Monday morning...time for me to get another cup of coffee.

1.  Buttons! This cute, crafty piece is perfect for the DIY or more casual wedding

2.  Still a little flowery, but completely off the beaten path, this baby's breath would looks striking against a dark colored suit jacket.

 3.  Scrabble and keys and buttons oh my!  I loved the personalized touches with the first letter of the groom's name from the Scrabble box.

4.  Packed with creativity and kind to the wallet, these pinwheels are a perfect pick me up to a traditional suit.

5.   Nothing but a pocket square- classically clean, and still a great pop of color.  This groom matched his pocket square and tie to his brides shoes.
